Hey guys! If you saw my other post on my main blog you would see that I have been so busy settling into uni that I have simply not been thinking about blogging or anything like that so I thought I'd show you some pictures of what I have been up to in the last few weeks!

We made Christmas dinner and had our own little flat Christmas day! This was a rather drunken picture of  me and some flat mates in the early hours of "boxing day"

We had a go at the condom challenge that has been crazing on facebook. It was very funny!

Laser tag, bonfire night and going home for the weekend

Hey guys! This week I have started my IOD ten pound challenge, where I am in a group and the group that uses their ten pounds to make the most money for a cancer research charity wins! My just giving page is in the right hand corner of this blog so if you are feeling generous please donate a pound or more! You can read all about the charity on the page. We have been having meetings to discuss what we want to do in order to raise the money and we have some pretty good ones so far.

On wednesday our flat went to Bella Italia for the five pound student deal. I had spaghetti carbonara and it was delicious.

Afterwards we went to laser quest! It was so much fun as it was just the eight of us in there and we had the whole warehouse to ourselves. For the first game we played in teams and my group beat the other team by a mile. For our second game we played all for one and I came second to last I am afraid to say! It was a lot of fun though.

On thursday night we went out to a bonfire night, it was wet and muddy but it was nice! There were lots of rides their, none of which I went on due to it being a bit expensive (plus I am a massive wimp.)  Just look at that mud!

On friday I went home to Leeds to see my family. I had a nightmarish journey back but it was nice to see everyone again. On saturday night i went with my boyfriend and his family to his cousins wedding reception which was lovely. My boyfriend comes from quite a large family so there were lots of people there!

On sunday I had a relaxing day and did a bit of work and did some baking which was nice! I have missed being able to bake while being at university so it felt good to be back in the kitchen!

Halloween

Hey guys this week has mainly been about getting things ready for Halloween! I have been really ill this week and so I haven't been able to join in with as much as I would have liked! Nevertheless on Wednesday I found the flat all decorated for Halloween.

On saturday night we went out for the event itself! My boyfriend came over for the weekend so it was lovely to have him here, we dressed up as pirates, Here are some pictures from the night!

Pan, free lunch and seeing the family

Hey guys! Sorry I didn't post last week on here, I had quite a boring week and forgot to take any pictures! On monday we went to see Pan in the cinema near us I bought some sweets before we went (don't tell anyone) so I had some things to chomp on! I personally liked the film although not many of my flat mates did!

On wednesday I had a volunteering talk on how to get involved with volunteering and signed up for some things. We also got free lunch which is always a bonus!

Afterwards I had to go to boots to get a repeat subscription, and while we waited for it me and my friend went to poundworld to pick up some stuff we needed. I got some cotton wool pads, some maltesers hot chocolate drinks which I am excited to try and a new shower gel which I am also excited to try.

On friday, I decided to treat myself to a starbucks! I had a nine to twelve lab session and an hour break before my two hour lecture so I decided I needed a treat after a hectic day! I got a mushroom and cheese croissant, an apple and walnut bun and of course a large pumpkin spice latte with whipped cream!

On sunday, my family came down to see me which was nice! I haven't seen them for a long time so it was lovely to be with them and my grandad. We went shopping because I needed lots of smart clothes for a business thing I am doing so I headed to primark! I may have to do a haul at some point if I can! In the evening we went for a yummy meal at a beefeater. I got meatball linguini and an amazing sticky toffee pudding.

On monday (today!) We went to Nottingham castle. We had a walk along the canal which was nice and autumnal and we passed the oldest inn in England!

In the evening we went for dinner at pizza hut which was delicious as usual so overall it's been a lovely weekend!

Starting uni properly, mini golf and Scott Mills

Hey guys! This week I have been settling into uni a little bit more, having my first lectures and tutorials and whatnot. although I am waiting for a washing machine to become free which is driving me insane.  I am really loving studying psychology in more depth and I know it's popular so I will do a post about my course over on my main blog at some point.

Anyway, besides my lectures I also had my very first job interview on tuesday. It was scary but I needed to experience. Later on saturday, I had the tryouts which were a bit nervous as I had never worked in a restaurant before and I was not sure what to do. I will update you if I do get the job however if I do not I won't be upset given than this was my first one and it's all good experience.

Tuesday night our flat decided to go adventure mini golfing which was a blast! I love mini golfing but I do get a bit competitive as I have never lost a game and I held the winning title on tuesday too! It was set out as if we were in a jungle, with lots of funny voices.

We had these special tickets which meant we only had to play for a fiver and we got a free drink which you can't go wrong with.

The rest of the week consisted of lectures and talks,getting used to my course and how uni works! On friday my boyfriend came down for the weekend and so did a few of my flat mates friends so we had a very busy flat! We made our own twister by sticking coloured dots to the kitchen floor and using an app which was very funny.

Saturday night we all went out which was great until one of my flatmates got so drunk he passed out and had to be escorted out vomiting which was not fun! Some of my flat mates had to do a 25 min walk home too in the rain just incase he threw up in a taxi. On sunday after having a massive lie in, my boyfriend went home and a few of us went out to "freshers ball" in our fancy clothes. A massive surprise to me was that Scott Mills was the DJ! There was also a casino and slot machines so it was a lot of fun and nice to be in classy clothes for once!
